Mary Achol Maketh
Born and raised in Kakuma refugee camp, Kenya She Sat for KCPE exam in the year 2017 and scored 363 mark Currently in form one at St Monica Girls high School, Kitale

Arok Bul Khot
Born in the remote village of South Sudan. As a child, she started her school in South Sudan, where there was no nursery and never understood anything right there. She then moved to Kakuma as a refugee where she went to Cush primary and sat for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), after hard work, she managed to score 357 marks out of 500. Her family were pretty impressed by her outstanding performance but, the challenge to access secondary school changed over them and she was unable to join the school fortunately, Twic East Girls Scholarship painted a smile on her face and offered her a four years scholarship to finish her secondary education. Arok would like to become a doctor in the near future because she has been inspired and wants to give back to the neediest.
